This site is owned by me, Paul.

I live with my family in the town of Kendal, Cumbria, famous for Kendal Mint Cake which accompanied explorers on the first successful ascent of Mount Everest in 1953.

I am a Director at The Dedicated Partnership Ltd. - an affiliate marketing company specialising in the design, development and promotion of tourism-related websites. Among other things, we run sites such as the UKhotel.com price comparison service, and associated sites such as UKcottage.com and UKattraction.com. As part of my role there, I am the principal blogger on A Luxury Travel Blog, a blog that caters specifically for the luxury travel industry, worldwide, and was voted one of the world's best travel blogs by The Daily Telegraph and 'best for luxury'.

I am also a Director at Kendal Holiday Cottages Ltd. where we offer luxury riverside self-catering accommodation in the town of Kendal, perfectly situated between two National Parks - the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.
